De Color

(School Project)

For this school project a small group of us made an interactive video for a musical performance called, De Color, using augmented reality. De Color is a musical piece using only a marimba and violin. We used rounded shapes to represent the soft sounds of the marimba and used sharper edged shapes to represent the violin. We made particle emitters and hand tracking designs used to follow the performance using these methods. The video was then shown at musical event at The University of Northern Iowa of the performance using our project on the projector. The photos shown were also taken by me to document some of the process of making the video and filter.
