This was a school project where we coded a website, and used it showcase a breakdown of the song, Sabotage by the Beastie Boys, using midi files. The Website breaks down all of the notes, a section of breakdown of the individual instruments (even being able to play each instrument in the website individually), and gifs made from the music video of the song that react to the different instruments of the songs.

In this still from the website you can see a color gradient of the high low scale of musical instruments used in the song. The yellow notes being the higher notes and the red being the lower end.

In this still you can see the. musical instruments broken down into sections. Each musical note is also an interactive key, and when you hover over the note it will play the midi file of that musical instrument from the song.

In this still you see a textured background, scenes from the music video that are actually interactive gifs that interact with the different instruments above. Hovering over each block, plays a different instrument and plays a gif from the music video interacting to the sound. The design of the faces were also made by my in illustrator.
